This page details our official application process for buying a healthy, home-raised Shih Tzu puppy from a reputable breeder you can trust.

Our structured process is the first step towards bringing home your new best friend and ensures fairness, transparency, and the best possible match for you and your new puppy.

Here’s how to get started:  

Your journey begins by filling out our no-obligation puppy application. To ensure an efficient and dedicated process for everyone, we kindly ask  that you complete this step before calling us. This is the only way to join our Wait List and secure your place in line for choosing a puppy.

We  carefully review every application and will contact you to schedule a friendly phone interview. This conversation is essential for us to get to know you and for final adoption approval. Once approved, we will provide you with a list of references from current puppy owners.

Once a litter is born and the puppies reach 8 to 10 weeks of age, approved families on our Wait List will be invited to select their puppy in order of their Rank.

This rank is your "puppy picking order", and it's determined simply and fairly by the timestamp of your approved application, the sooner you're approved, the higher your pick or "Rank".

To officially reserve your chosen puppy, a $100 deposit is required. This deposit is flexible: it's transferable to any future litter for up to one year, and you are never penalized for choosing to wait for the perfect puppy. The deposit only becomes non-refundable if not used within that one-year time frame. No puppy is considered reserved until a deposit is placed.

• We'll only ask for a deposit once you've picked the puppy you want (if our puppies are open to the general public and you're not on our current Wait List).
• If on our Wait List, we'll usually ask for a $100.00 deposit around the 6th or 7th week of a litter's age. This shows your serious intent to purchase from a current litter and helps determine who's committed and who's not  long before the puppies are made available to be picked. This keeps our process transparent and fair to all of our Wait List members.
• NOTE: Our puppies are not allowed to be picked until their 8th - 10th week of age.
• Our puppies are not allowed to go home any time before 10 weeks old, unless otherwise stated. 

Our Shih Tzu puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 10 weeks of age or older. This ensures they are healthy, well-socialized, and prepared for a smooth transition. We will coordinate all the final details with you for a joyful and memorable homecoming day.
